Who Am I?

So you might be wondering, who is Eat Here. Go There? It’s a complicated topic, and one I discuss with myself daily. I am still relatively new to the great state of Maine, by way of West ‘by God’ Virginia. I long to live in New York City, but haven’t made that dream a reality yet. I also love European travel, eating paté, and crippling Nor’easters. I enjoy the finer things in life, but I find comfort in simple joys as well. There is nothing better than Sunday drives on the back country roads of Maine with my dogs just checking out new places along the way. I am learning to embrace life as it comes, even though the planner in me has trouble with that sometimes. I have yet to meet a person whose life couldn’t benefit from being more open-minded, so I hope my blog will inspire people to try new things, even if it seems a little odd or scary at first.  So come, journey with me, eat with me, travel with me, laugh with me (and at me)—ugh, enough about me, let’s Eat Here.Go There!

Bigger question… how do I get in touch with you? I have an email re: a blogger happy hour.

Hi! Just wanted to say hi and I love the blog. I’m originally from NYC, living in Boston for the past several years and moving back to NY soon. I absolutely love Portland and love any source for finding good food in Portland. I’m headed there today and your review of Schulte and Herr totally convinced me to check it out today. Thanks!
